Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before engaging Thandolufuno Group (Pty) Ltd for construction or solar thermal services.
1. Definitions
In these Terms:
- "Company" refers to Thandolufuno Group (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2015/008152/07
- "Client" refers to the person or entity engaging our services
- "Services" refers to construction, renovation, maintenance, and solar thermal installation services
- "Contract" refers to the agreement between the Company and Client
2. Scope of Services
The Company agrees to provide the Services as described in the quotation or contract document. Any changes to the scope must be agreed upon in writing by both parties.
3. Quotations and Pricing
- All quotations are valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated
- Prices are subject to change based on material costs and project specifications
- Additional work not included in the original quotation will be charged separately
- All prices are quoted in South African Rand (ZAR) and exclude VAT unless specified
4. Payment Terms
- A deposit may be required before work commences
- Progress payments may be required for larger projects
- Final payment is due upon completion of work
- Late payments may incur interest charges
5. Project Timeline
The Company will use reasonable endeavors to complete the work within the agreed timeframe. However, timelines may be affected by factors beyond our control, including weather, material availability, and site conditions.
6. Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
- Provide safe access to the work site
- Obtain necessary permissions and approvals
- Make timely payments as agreed
- Communicate any concerns promptly
- Protect valuable items during construction
7. Warranties and Guarantees
- Construction work: 1-year workmanship warranty
- Solar thermal systems: Manufacturer warranty applies
- PVT panels: 15-20 year performance warranty
- Warranties do not cover damage from misuse or natural disasters
8. Liability
The Company's liability is limited to the value of the contract. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages. We maintain appropriate insurance coverage for public liability and professional indemnity.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the contract with written notice. The Client remains liable for work completed and materials ordered up to the termination date.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes will first be addressed through good faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes may be referred to mediation or arbitration in accordance with South African law.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of Johannesburg.
